What Is Conduit?
Conduit is a tube or channel that routes and protects electrical conductors. Electricians install conduit along walls, ceilings, underground paths, and other locations where wiring needs physical support or protection. Conduit may be metal or nonmetallic, and its fittings connect sections while helping create an orderly wiring path.
